I haven’t really heard much about the acclaimed guitarist known as Les Paul, real name Lester William Polsfuss, maybe because I am a little young and do not play the guitar and have never tried! But apparently this guy is a legend as his grounbreaking design is the tamplate for Gibson’s most popular electric guitar, the Les Paul model! Now I do not know if you will agree, stupid not to, but that is one massive achievement!! Les Paul was, and people still think he will never be bettered, the best guitarist in the world.
He was suffering from severe pneumonia, and at the age of 94 I think it is fair to say this legend had a great innings!!
