Connie Fisher the 25 year old welsh girl has got engaged after her 40 year old boyfriend proposed to her as she finished the opening night in Cardiff playing Maria in the hit show ‘The Sound Of Music’
Connie who won the role in a BBC1 TV show hosted by Andrew Loyd Webber met her fiance on the platform of a train station less than 12 months ago, Connie had this to say
“This must be the first time a nun has ever got engaged. I am deliriously happy.”
Tickets are still available for ‘The Sound of Music’ priced between £15 and £42 and the tour is currently running till February when they are in Edinburgh.
